Vintage Grand Seiko High Beat Hand Winding 4520-8000 36mm

Stunning 45GS Produced in September 1968. The 45GS series was the second, and final, series to be manufactured by the Daini Seikosha company. This 4520-8000 is the desirable no-date version of the GS45 and adheres very closely to the Grand Seiko “Grammar of Design”.
 
This example presented here is in overall very good original condition. The case shows small signs of wear and tear, but it does retain its sharp edges and brushed finishing of the front surface between the lugs (See Photos). The case back is in very good condition, with a well preserved gold medallion with original frosting. The original dial with applied logos condition is good condition but does show some age, notable between the two o'clock marker and the centre of the dial.
 
Keeping very good Time. Hacking works as it should. Service History Unknown but keeping very good time, about +/- 15 seconds a day. occasionally it take a small shake to get going if it has not been worn in a while, but once wound it will keep good time for its full power reserve. All Original Factory Polish with Patina (Not Re-Polished) Case back Medallion and text in amazing original condition. Comes fitted with a new 18mm Leather Strap. Seals are Original and old, so not currently waterproof.
