Vintage 1982 Seiko 7548-700C Divers Watch Serviced JDM Original

Vintage 1982 Seiko 7548-700C Divers Watch Serviced JDM Original

A$855.00Price

Offered here is a beautiful Seiko 7548-700C Quartz Diver, manufactured in March 1982. By the early 1980s, Seiko’s 7548 had firmly established itself as one of the finest quartz dive watches ever produced, earning a reputation for exceptional reliability, rugged construction, and timeless design. Today, original examples in well-preserved condition are becoming increasingly difficult to source.

The standout feature of this example is its beautifully preserved original dial, which remains in outstanding condition. The dial has never been refinished and retains its original factory silk-screened luminous material. The original hands are also present and retain their original lume, giving the watch the honest, untouched appearance that serious collectors appreciate.

Mechanically, the watch has just undergone a complete professional service by us. During the service, all seals were replaced to ensure the watch is ready for many more years of reliable use.

Following the service, the movement was tested and regulated using our Seiko QT-99 Quartz Tester, achieving exceptional accuracy. A photograph of the test results is included in the listing for complete transparency.

Completing the watch is a brand-new Uncle Seiko Z199 stainless steel bracelet, supplied in unused condition and still wrapped in its original protective plastic. The Z199 perfectly complements the classic styling of the 7548 while providing outstanding comfort for everyday wear.

Original, professionally serviced Seiko 7548 divers continue to become increasingly sought after as collectors recognise their historical significance as one of Seiko’s most iconic dive watches. Whether you are adding to a serious Seiko collection or searching for a vintage diver to wear and enjoy, this is an exceptional example that is ready to be appreciated for many years to come.

A Note on Vintage Watch Ownership

Vintage watches, while robust and reliable, may not be as precise as modern quartz timepieces and may require periodic servicing. Some gentle wear and natural patina should be expected with an original watch of this age.

At TEMPO PRIMA, we believe vintage watches should not be worn in water, regardless of their original specifications. We do not pressure-test vintage watches and therefore cannot guarantee water resistance. To preserve the longevity and integrity of these timepieces, we strongly recommend keeping them dry and avoiding any exposure to moisture.
