RETURNS POLICY

RETURNS POLICY

 

 

  • We are happy to accept returns on all items ( Excluding Vintage ) that are in original condition within 14 days of you receiving your order. Any items returned outside of this time frame will not be accepted. We are unable to accept returns on Vintage Watches, all Vintage Watch sale are final.
     

  • Items can be returned for store credit, refund or exchange.
     

  • Items purchased using a discount code or during a special promotional offer are eligible for return for credit note only.
     

  • If you purchased your item with a credit note or gift card, a new credit note or gift card with the purchase price of your item will be issued.
     

  • Original condition means the condition you received the item in. Returned items must not be used or damaged in any way. They must have tags attached and must be returned in its original box or case.
     

  • All items will be reviewed individually upon return. If your return is accepted, we will refund the price paid for your item via your original payment method.
     

  • If we receive a returned item in an unsuitable condition, the refund will become void and the item will be sent back to you.
     

  • The items you choose to return are your responsibility until we receive them. We are not responsible for any returned items that are lost in transit. We recommend that you secure tracking and/or insurance for the items you are returning and keep proof of postage.
     

  • All return postage costs are at your expense, unless the item arrives not as ordered, damaged or is deemed faulty.
     

  • Returns are processed within 5 working days of receiving them. You will be sent an email notification once your return has been processed. Refunds via PayPal clear almost immediately after they have been processed however refunds via credit card can take up to 5 working days depending on the financial institution.

All payments on this website are in Australian Dollars ($ AUD).

Payment accepted via PayPal, Afterpay, Credit card Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

Please note we will only ship to the PayPal shipping address specified during payment via PayPal. If this differs from the delivery address listed on your profile, the PayPal specified address is still the one we ship to as per PayPal's Terms and Conditions of Use.

Warranty on serviced Vintage Watches

WARRANTY ON SERVICED VINTAGE WATCHES

Unless otherwise stated, Vintage Watches that have been serviced by us are accompanied by a Limited 90 Day warranty from the day that the Watch is shipped, protecting against manufacturing and mechanical defects, subject to the following terms and conditions. 

The Warranty covers the following instances of damage and repair:

  • Full mechanical failure such that the movement ceases to run at all

  • Deterioration of mechanical performance below the tolerance limits listed in "Tolerance Limits" Section below.

  • Battery replacement in quartz watches where the battery has entirely run out of power


All other issues are not covered under the Warranty. These include but are not limited to:

  • Aesthetic damage to any part of the watch including but not limited to the case, bezel, dial, hands, bracelet / strap, case back, movement, glass / plexi, pushers, crown

  • Deterioration of the mechanical performance within the tolerance limits.

  • Repair of the crown including but not limited to failure to set functions and wear of threading

  • Any particulars that are highlighted in the product description or visible in the product photos


In the event of a claim against your Warranty, we will refund, repair or replace your watch at our sole discretion.

Tolerance Limits
We expect watches to maintain within the following tolerance limits:
 

  • Time Keeping +/- 60 seconds

  • Amplitude >150°

  • Power Reserve 24 hours

Exclusions
The Warranty is subject to exclusions, under which the Warranty is no longer valid. These exclusions include instances where:

  • The watch is stolen or lost

  • The watch suffers normal wear-and-tear, or is damaged by accidents, mishandling (including dropping of the watch), mistreatment or negligence (including, without limitation, damage caused by failure to follow manufacturer and/or our instructions)

  • The watch is keeping time within normal tolerances (+/-60 seconds per day)

  • The watch endures water damage of any kind

  • The watch case has been opened up to expose the movement or any other internal part, either by yourself or a third-party

  • Parts / components associated with the watch have been replaced, removed, or added

 

We state explicitly that any Vintage Watch we sell is not sold as being waterproof. We strongly advise not to wear any Vintage Watch in water.


We have the final decision on all claims against our Warranty. If any dispute arises in connection with the Warranty, we reserve the right to instruct an independent third party watchmaker nominated by us to determine the issues in dispute, though we are under no obligation to do so.
