Vintage 1978 Seiko 7548-700H Diver Watch Serviced Original
Offered here is a beautiful Seiko 7548-700H Quartz Diver, manufactured in May 1978. The 7548-700H is one of the rarer variants within Seiko’s legendary 7548 diver family and is a model that rarely becomes available, particularly in such original condition. With comparatively few examples appearing on the market, it has become a highly sought-after reference among vintage Seiko collectors.
This example also features the desirable international “SQ” dial, rather than the more commonly encountered Japanese domestic variant. Original international SQ dial examples are seldom seen on the market today, adding further appeal.
The standout feature of this example is that exceptionally clean original orange dial, which remains in outstanding condition. The dial has never been refinished and retains its original factory silk-screened luminous material. The original hands are also present and retain their original lume, giving the watch the honest appearance that serious collectors value.
Mechanically, the watch has just undergone a complete professional service by us. During the service, all seals were replaced to ensure the watch is ready for many more years of reliable use.
Following the service, the movement was tested and regulated using our Seiko QT-99 Quartz Tester, achieving an exceptional accuracy of +0.02 seconds per day. A photograph of the test results is included in the listing for complete transparency.
Completing the watch is a brand-new Uncle Seiko Z199 stainless steel bracelet, supplied in unused condition and still wrapped in its original protective plastic. The Z199 perfectly complements the vintage styling of the 7548 while providing excellent comfort and everyday wearability.
