Vintage 1963 Omega Seamaster Ref.166.009 Serviced Special Ribbion Dial
We are delighted to offer this freshly serviced 1963 Omega Seamaster Ref. 166.009, crafted in stainless steel and paired with its original Beads of Rice bracelet. This watch represents everything collectors love about mid-century Omega design, timeless proportions, refined details, and in this case, a highly sought after "Ribbon" special dial.
Often referred to as the curtain dial or côtes de Genève dial, this rare variation is among the most desirable of Omega’s special dials. While known and recognised by collectors, it remains uncommon enough to present a rewarding challenge to find. Many consider this “ribbon” style to be the king of special dials from that era.

Owning a Vintage Watch:
Please note that while this Seamaster has been freshly serviced, vintage mechanical watches may not keep time to modern quartz standards and do require periodic maintenance. Signs of age, wear, and patina are all part of their history and appeal.
Important Note on Water Resistance:
At TEMPO PRIMA, we do not recommend exposing vintage watches to water, regardless of their original ratings. We do not pressure-test vintage timepieces and therefore cannot guarantee water resistance. For longevity and preservation, we advise keeping the watch completely dry.
