Vintage 1975 Seiko 6105-8110 Serviced With Box Original Willard
The Seiko 6105-8110 is one of the most iconic dive watches in Seiko’s history and a true milestone in vintage dive watch design. Introduced in 1970, it was Seiko’s third major professional dive watch, following the 62MAS and the 6105-8000. It later achieved cult status after being worn by Martin Sheen as Captain Willard in Apocalypse Now, earning the enduring nickname “The Willard.”
This particular example was manufactured in December 1975 and is a rare survivor, highly original and in very nice condition throughout. Remarkably, it includes the original Seiko box and even its original factory strap (with a small split), details that are often lost to time and which strongly underscore the watch’s originality and collector-grade status.

Additional Notes
The 6105-8110 “Willard” is a cornerstone of Seiko’s dive watch legacy, and examples in this level of originality and completeness are becoming increasingly difficult to find. The unpolished case, fully original dial and hands, factory strap, and original box makes this a particularly special piece for the serious collector.
Please review all photos carefully, as they form part of the description and clearly illustrate the exceptional originality and condition of this watch.
A Note on Vintage Watch Ownership
Vintage mechanical watches, while robust and reliable, are not as precise as modern quartz timepieces and may require periodic servicing. Some gentle wear and natural patina should be expected with an original watch of this age. Treated with care, it will continue to be enjoyed for many years to come.
