Vintage 1983 Seiko 7549-7010 Tuna Professional 300m Serviced Watch Original
We are pleased to offer this stunning Seiko 7549-7010 “Tuna Can” professional diver, manufactured in April 1983. The 7549 series was Seiko’s first professional 300m quartz diver, a pioneering model that combined durability, accuracy, and bold design.
This example is in beautiful original condition, with its stainless steel shroud still retaining the original frosted factory finish. The watch has been fully serviced, fitted with all new seals and a genuine Seiko-branded battery, ensuring reliable performance for years to come.
All factory-original components remain in place, including the untouched dial and hands with original lume. The English/Kanji day wheel functions perfectly, as do the quickset day and date, and the bezel action is crisp and precise. The screw-down crown operates smoothly, and the movement keeps excellent time, tested and adjusted using a Seiko Quartztester (QT-99) to +0.02 seconds a Day.
The watch comes fitted with a new Seiko flat vent dive strap and fat spring bars, The original (stiff and unwearable) strap is included.
Please study the photos and video carefully, as they form part of the description and show the condition in greater detail.

A Note on Vintage Watch Ownership
Vintage mechanical watches, while robust and reliable, are not as precise as modern quartz timepieces and may require periodic servicing. Some gentle wear and natural patina should be expected with an original watch of this age. Treated with care, it will continue to be enjoyed for many years to come.
At TEMPO PRIMA, we believe vintage watches should not be worn in water, regardless of their original specifications. We do not pressure-test vintage watches and therefore cannot guarantee water resistance. To preserve the longevity and integrity of these timepieces, we strongly recommend keeping them dry and avoiding any exposure to moisture.
