Vintage 1976 Seiko 6306-7000 with Original Box Serviced
This stunning, factory original Seiko 6306 diver was produced in July 1976, just the second month of 6306 production. Complete with its original box, it is an exceptionally rare find. The 6306-7000 was the very first “Turtle” case design, and it was produced for only about five months in 1976.
This Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) model features the highly sought after bilingual English/Kanji day wheel, hacking seconds, and quick-set day/date functions. The screw-down crown operates smoothly, the bezel turns with a positive click, and the movement is running beautifully, keeping time within just a handful of seconds per day. It has been fully serviced by us and fitted with all new seals.
Condition is outstanding throughout. The original dial and hand lume remain beautifully preserved, and the original bezel insert is in excellent shape. The case retains its untouched factory finish, showing only light signs of age and use but no abuse or refinishing. The watch is fitted with a new Seiko flat vent dive strap and Seiko fat spring bars. Please note: although new seals were installed during servicing, the watch has not been pressure tested and should not be considered waterproof.
As the authorised Australian dealer for Uncle Seiko products, we offer a wide range of straps, please contact us if you would like a different option fitted.
Please examine the photos and video carefully, as they provide the clearest representation of this exceptional watch’s condition.
Owning a Vintage Watch
Mechanical watches will not keep quartz-level accuracy and do require servicing over time. Vintage pieces will also show natural wear and patina consistent with age. Please handle with care, as dropping or mishandling can damage the movement or other components.
We hope this remarkable 6306 finds a collector who will treasure it and wear it in good health for many years to come.
