Vintage 1970 Seiko Diver 'Double Proof' 6105-8110 Willard All Original Serviced

Stunning all original Seiko 6105 divers watch from May 1970. The Seiko 6105 dive watch was popular among U.S. servicemen during the Vietnam War in the early 1970s. It was favoured for its rugged nature and resistance to the harsh jungle environment.
 
This Watch is the 6105-8110 PROOF/PROOF variant, only made for 3 months in May, June, and July of 1970, this model features “PROOF” instead of “RESIST” on the dial and on the case back. The case, crown guard, and lugs are all slightly thinner than the later RESIST watches. Also these early Watches feature the “long sweep” second hand something collectors look out for as well.
This watch has been fully serviced including all new seals and keeps great time. This Watch is in excellent Vintage condition, it does show small signs of use but no abuse or tool marks. 
 
Watch is all factory original parts and original Box in great condition. I am including a new unworn Uncle Seiko strap for every day wear. 
 
It has the much more desirable horseshoe case back and long sweep second hand that these early models are famous for.
 
This Watch has all factory original finish on case (not re-polished) and is in very nice condition. All original Dial and hand Lume in very good condition, dial date code matches perfect (05 = May 70) Hardlex crystal is original and is also extremely clean. Watch has not been pressure tested so not currently waterproof.
