Vintage 1969 Grand Seiko Linen Dial 4520-7000 HI-BEAT 37.5mm Manual Wind

Stunning 45GS manufactured by the Daini Seikosha company in May 1969. The 45GS series was the second, and final, series to be manufactured by the Daini Seikosha company. This Watch is fitted with its original 4520A no date Movement that beats at 36,000bph to increase reliability.
 
The stand-out feature of this Watch if of course the dramatically shaped case, which in the example retains its sharply defined edges and original finishing, top sides of the case have a brushed finish, whilst all other surfaces are mirror-polished. The Case is in very nice original condition for its age, but does show some wear (see Photos) The case back is in very good condition, with a well preserved gold medallion. White Linen dial is in a very nice condition and shows an even warm patina to the dial.
 
Keeping very good Time. Hacking works as it should. Service History Unknown and more than likely due. All Original Factory Polish with Patina (Not Re-Polished) Case back Medallion and text in amazing original condition. Comes fitted with a new 18mm flat black leather strap, Seals are Original and old, so not currently waterproof.
